Bicentenary Celebration
Lots of visitors came to our
bicentenary celebration on Saturday October 15th, and everyone had a
wonderful time on a lovely, sunny day. The celebrations were opened by the mayor of
Brighton & Hove and there were displays, refreshments and entertainments -
trapeze training, juggling, a band and dancing. Thanks to all the parents,
staff and ex-pupils who helped make the day so successful. See
photos here
We also had a lot of coverage in the local press - see
here

Brighton Museum Display
Our display of artefacts and information
to do with the school's history was opened by Mrs Hutchins on July 12th and will remain on view through to
November. This display includes a 'listening-post' where visitors can listen to recordings of old pupils talking about school life in days gone by. Many children and parents
have helped to create this display by researching documents,
interviewing ex-pupils and making models. See photos
here.
You can also see a selection of photographs and documents from Middle
Street's past by clicking on the
'History'
link on the menu. |
