SCHOOL HISTORY - 1940s

Evacuee Diary 1941 -
click the diary to see the inside pages. The cover shows the school badge depicting Nelson's warship. During the first weeks that
the school was open in 1805, the pupils were marched down to the seafront to see
the passing cortege bearing the body of Nelson after his death at the Battle of
Trafalgar.
